What Is the SST Supervisor Card?
The SST Supervisor Card verifies that a site supervisor has completed the required 62 hours of DOB-approved safety training to oversee construction work in New York City. This requirement applies to individuals serving in supervisory roles on job sites covered by Local Law 196.
62-Hour SST Supervisor Requirement (Initial Card)
To obtain an SST Supervisor Card, individuals must complete 62 total hours of training, including:

OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training (Construction)

32 hours of DOB-approved SST Supervisor courses
Total required training: 62 hours
All courses must be completed through a DOB-approved training provider.
