SST Supervisor Card Renewal Requirements

To renew your SST Supervisor card:

• Complete 16 hours of SST refresher training

• Training must be completed within 1 year before expiration

• Renewal must be processed before the card expires
   

If Your Supervisor SST Card Expires
Expired Supervisor SST cards cannot be renewed.
You must complete the full 62-hour Supervisor SST training requirement again.

No Grace Period for Expired SST Cards
The NYC DOB does not provide a grace period.
If your SST card expires before renewal is processed:

• You are not eligible for renewal

• You must restart the full training pathway

• You may be denied access to NYC construction job sites
