SST-305 – 4-Hour Fall Prevention

The 4-Hour Fall Prevention course (SST-305) is a mandatory safety training required for construction workers on NYC job sites under NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Local Law 196.

This course focuses on the leading causes of falls in construction and provides essential instruction on fall hazards, prevention methods, and proper use of fall protection systems.

 Who Should Attend

• Construction workers required to complete SST training

• Workers applying for or renewing an NYC SST Worker or Supervisor Card

• Individuals required to complete fall prevention training under Local Law 196

• 4 hours total

• One-day classroom course

• Same-day completion

• This course is part of NYC SST training requirements

• Does not issue an SST card by itself

• Must be combined with other required SST courses to obtain or renew an SST card
