SST-301 – 2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP)

The SST 2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP) is a NYC Department of Buildings (DOB)–prescribed safety training course designed to help construction workers understand the purpose and requirements of a Site Safety Plan on NYC construction sites.

This course explains how Site Safety Plans are used to identify hazards, outline safety procedures, and ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations.

The training provides SST credit only and does not issue an SST card by itself.

It must be combined with other required safety training, such as OSHA 30 and additional SST courses, to qualify for an NYC SST Worker or Supervisor Card, in accordance with NYC DOB Local Law 196.
