SCA-301 – 32-Hour Suspended Scaffold Supervisor

The 32-Hour Suspended Scaffold Supervisor course (SCA-301) is a required training for individuals who supervise, oversee, or are responsible for suspended scaffold operations on NYC construction sites in accordance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations.

This course provides in-depth instruction on supervisory responsibilities, safety management, hazard control, and regulatory compliance related to suspended scaffold work.

• Foremen, superintendents, and site safety personnel

• Individuals responsible for supervising workers using suspended scaffolds

• Construction professionals required to complete initial supervisor-level training

Duration & Schedule

• 32 hours total

• Typically completed over multiple days

• Full attendance is required

• This is an initial supervisor training course, not a refresher

• Prior construction or scaffold-related experience is strongly recommended

Certification is issued only after successful completion of all course requirements
