    About the event

    This course covers the duties and responsibilities of a flagger, proper use of STOP/SLOW paddles, communication with road users, personal safety practices, and required equipment. Emphasis is placed on protecting workers, pedestrians, equipment, and the public while maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow through work areas.

    Training includes guidance on professional conduct, correct positioning, signaling techniques, and emergency response procedures in accordance with industry safety standards.


    Who Should Take This Course

    This course is required for individuals who:

    • Work as flaggers or traffic control personnel

    • Direct vehicle or pedestrian traffic in construction or roadway work zones

    Support construction crews where traffic control is required


    What You Will Learn

    • Roles and responsibilities of a flagger

    • Proper use of STOP/SLOW paddles and hand signals

    • Safe positioning and visibility requirements

    • Communication with drivers and pedestrians

    Certification

    Upon successful completion, participants receive a Flagger Training Certificate, required for traffic control duties on construction and work sites.


    Minimum Enrollment & Refund Policy
